THE SHACKSHAKERS
LOWER BROAD LO-FI - CD

An early, dynamic, and total jump blues variation of this Nashville Tennessee outfit. An amazing lineup of players are featured here. Col JD singing and blowing the harmonica, Joe Buck on Bass, the unreal Chris Scruggs (BR-549) playing the guitar, and Chris Detlaf on drums. This a document of the band when they were unknown, hungry, and playing from the heart 7 days a week on Lower Broadway Street in downtown Nashville at the Bluegrass Inn.

THE PINE HILL HAINTS
JACK OF DIAMONDS - 7"

4 songs, recorded live on the radio. This a straight ahead country touch for this band, perhaps one of the purest releases like this that the Haints have recorded. No amps, no effects on the vocals, just honest dry skin and bones.

2nd album by this group of friends from Mobile, Alabama. They have an energetic live show that carries over into the studio. Most songs are written by David Matthews, well-arranged and almost live musical novellas in their quality.
