THE PINE HILL HAINTS
THOSE WHO WANDER - CD

An early, dynamic, and total jump blues variation of this Nashville Tennessee outfit. An amazing lineup of players are featured here. Col JD singing and blowing the harmonica, Joe Buck on Bass, the unreal Chris Scruggs (BR-549) playing the guitar, and Chris Detlaf on drums. This a document of the band when they were unknown, hungry, and playing from the heart 7 days a week on Lower Broadway Street in downtown Nashville at the Bluegrass Inn.

DAVE DONDERO/THE PINE HILL HAINTS
SPLIT 7"

At this point in time, this was the first vinyl release by Dave Dondero. Dave lives wherever his truck is parked, but for the time being we will say he was a Pensacola boy. Some of the sharpest songwriting out there, with the untouchable tune "South of the South." The Haints side contains a This Bike is a Pipe Bomb cover, "Johnny," as well as the Mobile Mardi Gras number "The Merry Widow's of Joe Cain."

THE PINE HILL HAINTS
TRAINS HAVE NO NAMES - CD

Recorded in West point Georgia at the Sarcophagus Studios by Lynn Bridges. This is the first of the touring lineups, with Rymodee (this bike is a pipe bomb) playing the saw. SOngs about the coon dog cemetary, phantom trains, and life after death dominate this recording.

THE NATCHEZ SHAKERS
SHAKER HYMNS #2 - CD

2nd and final album by The Shakers. The record was first released here on Arkam, before being picked up and re-released on Thorp Records. A much more full and polished version of the band, with the songwriting by Joey Barrier getting more complex and deeper. Celtic based, by way of the Appalachian Mountains. Recorded by Lynn Bridges in West Point, Georgia at Sarcophagus Studios #3.

THE CRYPT KICKERS/THE PLAIN CLOTHES CREEP STRING TRIO/THE PINE HILL HAINTS
TALES FROM THE FRONT PORCH - LP

This release has a killer side from the Crypt Kickers...Robert Daniel, Matt Bakula, and JD, recorded in West Point, Georgia by Lynn Bridges...Bradley Williams (ADMF, founding Haints bucket player) plays on the 2nd portion of this record with The Plain Clothes Creep String Trio. The last third is perhaps the bluesiest material the Pine Hill Haints have done...it is a strange turning over period for the band, with a revolving cast...JD Wilkes (The Shackshakers, The Dirt Daubers) plays harmonica on a few tunes, and Joe Buck (early Shackshakers, Hank 3's bassist) plays snare on a few tunes. Rymodee (This Bike is a Pipe Bomb, The Blank Fight) plays saw, also Doug Sherrard, Katie Kat, Travis Hightower, and Bradley Williams play on this record.

THE WEDNESDAYS
FURY - CD

A collection of songs that were made from traveling and touring. This is the 2nd full length by The Wednesdays. The first was on a small label out of California, and it contrasts the rawness and chaos of this particular release. This is the last recorded release with the three Barrier brothers.

THIS BIKE IS A PIPE BOMB
BLACK PANTHER PARTY - 7"5

songs dealing with the underside of society...hobo's, the ever-surging police state, human rights, the simple joy of playing music on your own, and many other common issues were talked about by this amazing band. Hailing from Pensacola, Florida, this trio has inspired and influenced kids all over the world. With the lonesome ghost of Joe Hill and the dark prophetic gaze or Woodie Guthrie, this record continues to inspire.

NATCHEZ SHAKERS/THE PINE HILL HAINTS
DEVIL'S BACKBONE/THE COLD, COLD HAND - CD

Joey Barrier started up the shakers out of the ashes of a series of Florence Alabama rock and roll bands. It was here that Brian Conner first began playing live music, as well as Micheal Posey (future haints accordion player). The Haints lineup, ever changing and evolving, has Katie Cat on washboard as well as Thomas King on accordion. Although these two played with the haints previous to this cd, they didn't record on the first LP. It was at this point that both bands began touring and taking their music out of the south.
